Youth Counselling

Joys Cottage Intercultural Counselling offers young people an opportunity to explore thoughts, issues, and feelings and try out new ideas to deal with difficulties in a calm and relaxed atmosphere.

Counselling young people involves helping children to develop a positive attitude to life, recognise their strengths and express themselves. It does not involve making decisions for them, imposing beliefs on them or preaching. It is a space where they can feel listened to, welcomed, accepted and understood.

Common issues are:

  • - Low self-steem.
  • - Peer issues.
  • - Family issues.
  • - Eating disorders.
